3 is Tómas Jónsson’s second album. It contains instrumental music that varies from mellow synthpop, to neoclassical to hardcore electro-industrial. Tómas is an Icelandic musician and keyboard player that lives with his family in a small village in the south of Iceland. The album was mostly recorded in Iceland but also in a moving studio in a tourbus both in north America and Europe. The album features 9 songs by Tómas Jónsson performed by him and additional musicians, some of Icelands finest. It is full of organic sounds from vintage analog gear where 70’s synthesizers play a big roll. The album is electronic yet organic. It mixes electronics with acoustic instruments.
